COLERIDGE TUNNEL DISASTER
MCDONALD’S BODY FOUND [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 22. The body of Archibald McDonald, one of the victims of the disaster at Lake Coleridge tunnel works, was recovered last night. It was reported yesterday that the body of Richard Green had been reached by the tunnellers, but this report was incorrect, the body- proving to be that of McDonald. The body of Green had not been located to-day, and no forecast could be given of when it was likely the workmen would reach it. McDonald’s body was brought to town this afternoon.
