TO-DAY’S FORECAST. EASTERLY WINDS, STRONG TO GALE. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Oct. 22. Following is the Government Mcteorologistss forecast: —Present indications are for easterly winds, strong to gale, veering to southerlies north-west of New Plymouth and Castle Point. Strong north-ast to south-east winds elsewhere. Wdather dull and misty, with rain generally. Heavy rain in northern and east coast districts of tho North Island. Barometer falling, rising after about sixteen hours.
