A THUNDERBOLT
TE ARAROA SENSATION STORM AND HEAVY RAIN GISBORNE, July 25. During a storm at To Araroa this week a terrific thunder-bolt fell some miles inland, tearing out a tree and narrowly missing a house nearby. Five inches of rain fell each day since Tuesday. Hick’s Bay also reports a heavy storm. The weather is now abating.
