GARRISON BAND CARNIVAL
BIG DANCE TO-NIGHT AT HARMAN’S HALL. Trippers of the light fantastic had such a really enjoyable evening at the last Garrison Band dance, that Har mhn’s Hall to-night should attract all lovers of good dancing and music The hall has been tastefully decorated for the occasion, and delightful music ,and an excellent supper will be provided. The committee have, upon this occlusion, wisely reduced the price of ladies’ tickets to Is 6d, gentlemen 2s 6d, and it is to be hoped that the hall will be packed with a happy, care-free throng. Tickets of admission are (available from the members of the Garrison Band committees, Messrs Young and Collins. Ltd., or at Harman’s Hall to-night. The dance commences at 8 o’clock, and a capital evening’s entertainment is promised to all who are present. GRAND BALL AT MANGAMAHF FRIDAY NIGHT NEXT The grand ball to be held in Mr W. R. Kellick’s woolshed at Mangamahu on Friday evening next is creating considerable interest both in the city and country. It is to be the ball of the season, and all who attend can look forward to a delightful time. Extensive preparations arc being made for this ball, land many artistic and novel attractions will be presented during the proceedings. Some twenty members of the Garrison Band, who arc providing the major portion of the musical programme, will proceed to Mangamahu by car on Friday after-, noon. In addition, several other musical artists will also be present, and an evening brimful of pleasure and lamuscmont is assured at Mangamahu s grand ball on Friday evening next.
