AMERICAN RADIO EXPERIMENTS. Received July 26, 5.5 p.m. NEW' YORK, July 25. Schenectady. New York, reports that station WGY. General Electric Company, will broadcast special high power test programmes at midnight on July 25. 2S and 30. They will be of an hour’s duration. The station will employ fifty thousand watts power, which is ten times greater than that now employed by high power stations, and a hundred times greater than the power used by ordinary stations. Engineers arc experimenting for the purpose of reporting to Mr Hoover at the next, national radio conference.
