The unique distinettofc nf beifig the first and only furrier in New Zealand to be admitted a member of the British Fur Trade Alliance has been conferred un Madame Menere, 127 Cashel Street Christchurch. There is only one mem ber of the Alliance in Australasia, viz. a Afelbourne firm. The distinction i« only conferred on furriers of the highest standing and with unimpeachable credentials.
