STATEMENT FOR JUNE. The new loans paid by the Public Trust Oflicc during the month of June [amounted to £290,354 —private mortgages, £176,804, and local bodies, £113,550. New loans were granted amounting i to £270,397 Ils 6d, private mortgagors £91,300, and local bodies £179,097 Ills sd. 1 Total loans granted, hut not yet I paid, lamount to £1,064,884, and amounts offered being less than lull [loans applied for amount to £207,690 i—a grand total of £1,272,574. ' Further application for loans now awaiting consideration amount to £577,325. ♦ | The new business reported during the month has been unusually largo — [estates of a total value, of £499.936 having been accepted for administra- ’ tion. : i A further 547 wills of living testators were deposited for ftafo custody, 9 land the number of wills so held is now 45,320.
