THE REMUERA’S IMMIGRANTS.

(Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, June 28. The Rcmuera, with 300 nominated immigrants, including 144 children, berthed this morning. Those for the southern towns leave, by train at 7.40 on Sunday night. Other passengers and officers of the Remuera say that the immigrants should prove an asset to the Dominion. On general appearance and behaviour there is every indication of their being equal to any nominated or assisted immigrants brought to New Zealand. BOYS FOR FLOCK HOUSE. AUCKLAND, June 28. Twenty-five boys who arrived by the Remuera are the first of a large number being sent to the Dominion under the scheme inaugurated by the sheep owners of the Dominion. The average age of the boys is 16 J years. All but two are orphans. They are a fine lot. They proceed South to-morrow to toko up their quarters at Flock House near Bulls where they will undergo agricultura' training for twelve months.
