BRITAIN’S CO-OPERATION. PARIS, June 27. Submitting an account of the Chequers aud Brussels conversations to the Senate and the Chamber, M. Herriot said that the Hon. Ramsay MacDonald told him that in the event of German default in the execution of the Dawes plait, Britain would solemnly undertake to stand by the Allies. Britain desired Germany to give a written undertaking to carry out measures for the execution of the plan. M. Herriot. insisted to Mr. MacDonald on the necessity for a settlement of the inter-AUied debts question, and the British Premier admitted that it should be taken up without delay.
