LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, June 28. The Legislative Council passed through all its stages this morning the Imprest Supply Bill, voting supply for Government Departments. A month’s leave of absence on account of illness was granted Sir Edwin Mitchelson, and absence for the duration of the session to the Hon. E. Newman, who is absent from the Dominion. The Hon. Cohen gave notice of motion drawing the attention of the Government to the case of a lad Duval, an American seaman, adjudicated upon by Nr. Poynton at Auckland recently.
