AUSTRALIA’S PROSPERITY
FEDERAL PREMIER’S CLAIM. MELBOURNE, June 27. In the House of Representatives, the Hon. S. M. Bruce, speaking on unemployment, said the problem in Australia was much less serious than in any other country. Australia was undoubtedly the most prosperous part of the world to-day. The unemployment returns had fallen from 11.4 per cent, in 1921 to 7.6 per cent, at the present time.
