THE CHANNEL TUNNEL
SCHEME TO BE CONSIDERED LONDON, June 26. In the House of Commons, the Hon. Ramsay MacDonald informed a depu tation of Commoners that in view of the changed circumstances ,including strategy, air power, and the necessity of promoting harmonious AngloFrench relations, he was summoning a special meeting of the Committee of Imperial Defence, at which he will preside himself to consider and report on the Channel tunnel scheme.
