FOUND DROWNED
BODY IN MANAWATU BIVER. FOXTON, June 26. Constables Owen and Ryan recovered the body of a man from an island in the Manawatu River, about eight miles up from the wharf, this afternoon. Identification has not yet been established. Apparently the body has been in the water for two or three weeks.
