EMPIRE EXHIBITION
LONDON, June 9. A feature of the Whitsuntide holiday was enormous attendances at Wembley, estimated at a quarter of a million. The controller hopes that the improvement will be continued, and makes no secret that the financial outlook is causing grave concern. This probably explains the feelers thrown out during the last fortnight that the Exhibition should be reopened in 1925.
