MUTINOUS AIRMEN

TROUBLE IN LISBON. LISBON, June 9. Twenty-nine air officers w r ho refused to obey the decree of the Air Minister in apointing a new commandant of the aerodrome at Armadora, have been arrested. The airmen, who are all youths of good family, entrenched themselves in the aerodrome, which was thereupon surrounded by four thousand cavalry, after which the rebels surrendered. There are rumours of dissatisfaction in the army. The opinion is expressed that the great display of force to suppress this movement was made in order to show that the Government controls the position.
