MEETING OF CONTROLLING BOARD. IMPORTANT MATTERS DISCUSSEJ (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHUBH, June 10. The meeting of the Board of the New Zealand Trotting Association decided to notify J. B. Corrigan that on future occasions, when he disposes oi horses the board must be advised <t the sale by the vendor as . well as by the buyer. The Boyal Agricultural Society oi New Zealand jyrotc asking what classes for trotters the association would suggest for inclusion in the schedule of the Royal Show, also what donation the association would give towards prize” for trotters. It was decided to recommend that classes be arranged for trotting stallion and mare and pacing stallion and mare. £lOO was allotted for prize money, and it was decided to .isk clubs to assist the association in making up the amount. Jas. Bryce jun., was called before the board and admitted having been on the Ashburton racecourse on June 7, having been previously warned by the association that he must not attend any race meeting during the currency of his suspension. It was resolved that the term of his suspenlon be extended to July 31, 1925. The term of his original suspension would have expired on February 2, 1925. A full report was received from T. H. Davey, stipendiary steward, and it was resolved that the board considered as satisfactory the report of the stipendiary steward on the running of the Victory Handicap at Dunedin, and having examined the statements made, the beard found the horse Realm was not telegraphed for as stated, but had actually left Christchurch for Dunedin on the morning of the first day’s racing at that centre.
