A BABY’S DEATH
FATHER CHARGED WITH. MURDER. LONDON, June 8. Following neighbours’ stories that a ten months’ old baby boy of a married couple named Travis, residing at Marylebonc was missing, the police questioned them. They first stated that the baby had been sent to the care of friends. Later, Travis, who is aged twentyone, admitted that the child was restless at night He squeezed its nose to quieten it and it ceased breathing. He placed the body in a kitbag and left it in the New street railway cloak room. Detectives found it there and arrested Travis on a charge of murder.
