ANONYMOUS LETTERS
CHARGE AGAINST YOUNG WOMAN. LONDON, June 8. After three days’ hearing at the Norwich Assizes, the Jury, for the second time disagreed in the case which Dorothy Myrtle Thurburn, a pretty girl of 2s, was accused of sending hnonytaous letters to the residents of Sheringham, where she lives.
A previous trial was held last November, tad the next trial was fixed for October.
Meanwhile the Crown may drop the ease.
The Judge commented that it was not fair for the girl for the case to hang over her head for months and months. She was young, and it might ruin her whole life.
