Dalgety and Company, Ltd. (Dunedin), report as follows:—We offered another large catalogue on June 2, when, in spite of the rather discouraging reports received from London, prices were exceedingly good; while for the better grades, ranging from late autumns up, prices were even better. On our catalogue, late autumns advanced 4d per lb., incoming winters 3Jd., early winters 2d., while first winter bucks brought 86|d and docs 77jd. The following are the prices realised: Runners and suckers up to 25d per lb; light racks 34J-d per lb; summers 33d; heavy racks 35|d; prime racks 38d; early autumns 56] d; late autumns 685; incoming winters 73d; early winters, bucks up to 76b1; early winter does, 73£d; winter bucks, 674 d; winter does 63d; first winter bucks, 86]d; first winter does 77]d; spotted winters 54£d; autumn fawns 45{d; winter fawns up. to 724 d; autumn blacks 50]d; winter blacks 72Jd; autumn broken, 37j|d; winter broken 435 d; milky, 31}d; hareskins 231 d; horsehair, 212 d. On these prices late autumns averaged £5 3s per 100, incomings £5 15s 6d., early winter bucks and does £5 19s, first winter bucks and does £6 17s.
