Frozen Beef.—Argentine fores, 30+d; hinds, sid. Uruguay fores, 3d; hinds, 4}d. Chilled.—Argentine fores, 3 3-8 d; hinds, 6Jd. Uruguay hinds, 3 l-8d; fores, s|d. Others unchanged. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having rccived the following cablegram from their London house under date of the sth inst.: Lamb. —New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy 9jd, light lid; North Island heavy, 9|d; light 10 3-Bd. Demand for Nw Zealand lamb has been checked by increased prices asked. Any change in price is in favour of buyers. Mutton—New Zaland prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury heavy, 6|d; light, 7d; North Island heavy, 6 l-8d; •light, 6sd. Limited demand for New Zealand mutton; market very dull. Beef.—New Zealand beef not quoted.
Australian Frozen Meat—Not quoted. Lamb prices ar nominally unchanged. Buyers seem unwilling to operate at present prices.
