ELECTROCUTED

FATALITY AT CHRISTCHURCH. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. May 7. ; James Ernest Williams, 32, married, was electrocuted in the State coal yard this afternoon. Williams and two other men were working on a circular saw which was driven by an electric motor connected to an electric pole in the yard by a copper cable, which was uncovered. Williams turned on the electric current to start the motor, and when walking away from the switch to the saw-bench must have come in contact in with cable, for he was picked up dead with the cable across his body.
