MOSLEM FESTIVAL IN ENGLAND
LONDON, May 5. Twenty nationalities are represented at a Moslem festival at the Woking mosque. The priest, speaking on religion and peaee, said that none but those who lived in a Western country could appreciate the meaning of pious hypocrisy. Though the recent “Copec” conference at Birmingham had amiable intentions, its deliberations, which embraced every conceivable subject in heaven and on earth, were not worth a Russian kopec. The church and .State in the West had become a miserable combine.
Those attending the festival included the Aga Khan and Lord Leadlcy.
