REASON FOR POPULARITY Received May 6, 7.30 p.m. LONDON, May 5. The Morning Post’s financial editor, commenting on the New Zealand loan prospectus, says: Not the least interesting feature is the great amount of detailed information given regarding the Dominion’s financial position, and the manner in which the proceeds are to be applied. This is highly commendable, and is doubtless among the reasons explaining the popularity of New Zealand issues in the market. LONDON, May 5. The New Zealand loan has been underwritten. It is redeemable in 1944.
