MARTON NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Mr. Edgar Galpin, Woodlands, requires a handy man for the farm. Tenders are invited (to close at noon on April 4) for the installation of lavatories, latrines, and baths at Flock House, Parewanui. Plans and specificatiens may be obtained from Mr. W. T. Higgins, architect, Marton. Mr. Jas. Coyle, the well-known trainer ;.t Marton Junction, leaves for Masterton after the Manawatu meeting to take charge of Mr. A. McDonald’s horses in the capacity of private trainer. Mr. D. Donald’s horses, Aeriform and Tinohari, go to Trentham, where they will be under the supervision of Mr- J. Ayres. The annual meeting of the Marton Gollf Club (which was to have been held on Tuesday evening) lapsed for want of aquorum. An endeavour will be made on Friday evening to induce members to attend! and allow the Club to carry out its duties in electing officers, etc.
