GIBBONS TO FIGHT CARPENTIER Received March 26, 8.55 p.m. NEW YORK, March 26. According to a Chicago message, Tom Gibbons has ben matched against Georges Carpentier for a ten round no decision bout on July 4, in Michigan City, Indiana, or Benton Harbour, Michigan. Carpentier is guaranteed seventy thousand dollars with the privilege of twenty-five per cent of the receipts. Gibbons accepted a flat thirty per cent.
