TENSION SOMEWHAT RELAXED.
jßeceived March 26, 8.30 p.m. LONDON, March 25. The bewildering political situation which has arisen in Ireland as a result of the army crisis was somewhat relieved, to-day by an announcement by Mr. McGrath that he had postponed his resignation from the Dail, and that other deputies who had also threatened to resign were doing likewise. The threat of resignation was made as a protest against the Government’s alleged breach of the undertaking given Mr. McGrath that deserting officers whp surrendered would be reinstated and the incident closed.
