At the Police Court Henry Augustus Scott, an auctioneer at Shannon, .pleaded guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington for sentence on a charge of fraudulently converting to his own use £l5, the balance of the proceeds of fruit sold at auction by the defendant for Apsey and Co., Hastings.
