FROZEN MEAT
EXPORTS FROM ARGENTINE AND URUGUAY. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 25. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board received a cabfe from its representative in Buenos Aires advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended 22nd instant.—From Argentine and Uruguay, 160,613 quarters- of chilled beef. 46,605 quarters of frozen beef; 12 2,050 carcases of frozen mutton; 66,808 carcases of frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period totalled 178,600 quarters of frozen beef, 31,801 carcases of fro zen mutton, and 1350 carcases of frozen lamb.
