Received March 24, 10.5 p.m. BERLIN, March 23. The election campaign is in full swing. The Socialists 7 cry is “Defend the Republic.” Nationalists are frankly appealing for restoration of the monarchy, though not mentioning the Hohenzollerns. Bavarian Nationalists are pressing the claims of Von Tirpitz as Ebert’s successor.
