FIRE AT TAKAPUNA
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, .July 10. A fire destroyed a five-romed house at Taka puna owned by Mrs Riff kin and occupied by Messrs McCarroll and family. Mr and Mrs McCarroll and three children got out with nothing but their night clothes. The house was insured for £.750 in the Northern Assurance, and the furniture for £750 in the Australian Provincial and £4OO in the Northern.
