(Per Press Association)CHRISTCHURCH. May Esma Drury, a young man convicted of indecent acts towards young giyls, was sentenced to reformative detention not. exceeding five years. Mr Justice Adams over ruled the suggestion that Drury should be taken by the Salvation Army. He stated that in the interests of the public he could not place him under the charge of persons not clothed with legal authority. Some shield must be placed between prisoner and the public.
