SUMMER TIME
ADOPTED BY FRENCH TO SAVE COAL. PARIS, May 16. Despite its recent decision the Chamber of Deputies passed the Government Summer Time Bill by 313 vote to 246, after a lively debate which terminated in a fervent appeal by M. Poincare, who pointed out that it would mean the saving of 200,000 tons of coal. The Senate is expected to agree.
