N.Z. TOUR OF BRITAIN
THE IDEA WELCOMED Received April 13, 10.30 p.m. LONDON, April 13. Sporting Life, featuring the projected tour of New Zealanders, states that the visit to England will be a matter of gratification. It will do a lot to clear the air of intrigues. It might lead to a conference of all Rugby playing countries. It is common knowledge that New Zealand, New South Wales and Queensland' unions frequently forwarded proposals which the English, union neither adopted nor seriously considered. Many complaints respecting discourtesy in England were received. Mr Wray (New Zealand representative on the Rugby Union) hopes to see a conference of English, French, New Zealand, New South Wales and Queensland unions.
