WIRELESS TELEPHONES.
SCHEME ADOPTED IN SOUTH AFRICA. CAPETOWN, July 12. The Postmaster-General announces that licenses will be granted for the establishment of broadcasting wireless telephone services in various parts of the Union. Licenses will also be necessary for receiving apparatus. Broadcasting stations will not be permitted to handle acvert|&ing or commercial matter, and transmitting stations will be assigned fixed wave lengths.
