-MAORI CHALLENGE SHIELD MATCH. RANGITIKEI v. WAIROA, AT MARTON. To-morrow afternoon, on Marton Park, there promises to be a fine exhibition of Rugby between native teams representing Rangitikei and AVairoa (Waverlely) Sub-unions The handsome Maori Challenge Shield is to be the reward for the winners, Rangitikei being the present holders. They have a very strong team to defend the coveted .shield, and the honours of the game should go to them, despite the fact that the natives from Waverley and surrounding district are quite confident of being able to return home with the shield. There should be a large crowd on Marton Park to-morrow afternoon to witness this interesting match.
