WANGANUI CLUB. The W’anganui Club’s handicap tournament is now completed. In the finals of the ladies’ singles, Miss Darley defeated Miss Couper, and in the combined doubles ®utfield and Miss Aller beat Pownall and Mrs Bogle. The winners 4n Ithe various sections are: Ladies’ Singles.—Miss Darley. Ladies’ Doubles.—Misses Pearce anjl Lance. Men’s Singles.—S. Powdrell. Men’s Doubles.—Moulder and C. S. Brow#. ’ Combined Doubles.—Cutfield and Miss Aller. As there are now only three Saturdays left till Easter, the first rounds of the club’s championship tournament must be played off on Saturday next. The following team will travel to Hunterville on Saturday, to represent the Wanganui Club against the Hunterville Club in a match to decide the possession of the Powdrell Cup, presented by Mr Powdrell to the winners of the B grade competition:—Misses Pearce. Treadwell, London, Mrs Fowler, and Messrs. R. Anderson, Moulder, C. S. Brown, and McDonald.
