FIRST MEETING OF BOARD.
(Per Press Association). WELLINGTON. March 14. The first meeting of the Meat Pool Board was held in Wellington today. The Dlinister of Agriculture met and welcomed the members of the Board and wished them every success in their important tasks. Unfortunately all the members were not able to be present. It was decided to deal with formal preliminaries, and business such as the election of chairman, for which a full attendance is wanted, at to-morrow’s meeting. An informal discussion took place regarding the functions of the Board and the most effective method of carrying them out.
