CRICKET. NORTH V. SOUTH RANGITIKEI. The team selected to play for South Rangitikei at Taihape on Saturday, 25th March, and at Martan ou Saturday, Bth April, is as follows: IJ: Broad (capt.) H. F. THE SANDON SCHOOL. At a recent “indignation” meeting at Sandon it was resolved that the Ho.i. Mr. Parr, Minister of Education. sr.ould be requested to inspect the school building as early as could be arranged, and in accordance with this resolution Mr. Edward Newman, M.P., communicated with the Minister an I requested him to visit Sancon on Wednesday, 15th inst., when he will be in Palmerston North on departmental Justness. Hon. Parr, however, was unable, owing to pressure oi engagement already made, to aee'.ue to this request, but stated that he would be very pleased to arrange for an inspection of the schqol in the near future. Mr. Newman'has now asked Mr Parr to fix the date of his visit in order that the School Committee may arrange accordingly.
