A MURDERER’S ESCAPE.
BERLIN, Jan. 12. A curious decision has been given by the Criminal Court which < uasned the sentence of 28 months’ imprisonment imposed on Lieutenant Vogel in connection with the murders of Hert Liebknecht and Rosa Luxembourg on the ground that a law was subsequently passed exempting those guilty of an offence committed for the purpose of preventing high treason. Vogel escaped to Holland and never served the sentence.
