Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is expected to arrive in Auckland on December 6. Mr and Mrs P. A. O'Neill arrived in Wellington last Tuesday morning by the s.s. Moana after a lengthy visit to Sydney. Miss Monica O’Neill, ■who spent the winter in Sydney, arrived by the same boat. The death occurred at Perth, West Australia, on Saturday, of Mrs Charles Zoli. The deceased, who was the daughter of Mr and Mrs G. H. Shattky, of Hastings, had for the past five, years been a member of the theatrical profession, and as Miss Dorothy Hastings had made for herself a host of friends and admirers throughout the Commonwealth and New Zealand.
