NEW WAGES BONUS.
ANNOUNCEMENT BY MR. JUSTICE STRINGER. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH Nov. 3. Mr. Justice Stringer made an announcement in the Arbitration Court to-day regarding the new wages bonus payable as from November Ist owing to the further increase in the cost of living. The new bonus for male workers is fixed at 2id an hour, or 9s weekly, females over 20 years of age 4s 6d, under 20 years 3s, youths and apprentices 3s. Mr. Justice Stringer advised that applications by the Union should be made immediately.
