BRITAIN’S BUTTER SUPPLY.

Received August 1, 5.5 p.m. - LONDON, July 31. The Food Minister estimates the total imported butter available on March 31st, 1921, will not exceed ninety thousand cwt. The Ministry’ will continue to be the sole purchaser. It is of opinion that although a free market might bring more supplies, the price would be increased to four or five shillings per pound.
