ARCHBISHOP MANNIX.

In the House of Commons, the Home Secretary, replying to Mr. Kenworthy, said he was advised that under the Defence of the Realm Act regulations, Archbishop Mannix could be prevented from entering or residing in Ireland. The “Central News’ ” Dublin correspondent says: Strong belief prevails that the landing of Arohbishop Mannix will not be prevented. Arrangements are being made in Dublin to welcome hint, and the Lord Mayor is being urged to make Archbishop Mannix a freeman of the city.
