PRINCE’S VISIT TO INDIA.
SU GGESTED VISIT BY r ANOTHER PRINCE. Received July 28, 11.20 p.m. , LONDON, July 27. The Daily Express says: It is a matter for deep regret that the Prince’s visit to India has beep postponed. It is obvious that the Herculean labours of the New Zealand and Australian tours have made a serious drain on the Prince’s health. The wonder is not that he is exhausted but that he should have carried out half these duties without breaking do.wn. If the Prince cannot visit India, we hope the King will depute another. Why not the Duke of York? It would have an excellent effect at a critical time.
