Received July 29, 8.5 p.m. NOME (Alaska), July 28. Amundsen arrived in a tug, reporting the expedition well at Sledge Island aboard the Maude. NEW YORK, July 28. The Associated Press says that Amundsen’s arrival completes the first circumnavigation of the globe in Arctic waters. AMUNDSEN’S LONELY FURROW. Received July 30. 1 a.m. NOME, July 28. Amundsen will slay here ' two weeks before returning to the Arctic Ocean for a five years’ expedition.
