AUCKLAND DEFEATS WELLINGTON. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 30. The Plunket Shield match was won by Auckland by nine wickets. In the second innings Wellington scored 16 6, Baker 43, Burton 27. For Auckland Hemus not out 27, and Horspool 17, contributed most of the 50 wanted to win. Bowling for Auckland Coates took five wickets for 56 and Smith five for 52.
