CHURCH NOTES.

TO-MORROW’S SERVICES. At Trinity Church the Rev. H. L. Blamires will preach in the morning on “The Fuller Revelation.” At the evening service the anthem will bj “Sweet is the Sunlight,” the preacher being Mr A. S. Wansbrough. Mrs D. <ohns will also sing “There is a Green Hill.” A musical service will be held at Wanganui East Methodist Church on Sunday evening. Alexander’s Hymns and solos will be sung. Byrequest the Rev. H. L. Blamires will speak on “The Message of British Statesmen to the Empire.” Retiring collections will be taken in the Methodist Churches for the North Island Orphanage. The twentieth anniversary of the St. Andrew’s Sunday School will he celebrated by special services in the church in the morning at 11 afternoon at 3 and in the evening at 7. In the forenoon the Rev. David Campbell will give an address on "The origin and growth of the Sabbath School,” and in the evening the subject is entitled, “The relation of the Sunday School to the Church.” The afternoon gathering of parents and children will be addressed by Mr Tucker, who was associated with the church in the early days. A cordial invitation is extended to all exteachers and Sunday School scholars. The Rev. J. D. McKenzie, of St. Paul’s will conduct the service in the Upper Aramoho Presbyterian -Church to-morrow afternoon, commencing at 2.45 p.m., and In the evening at 7 Mr J. S. Reed has kindly consented to preach. All residents of the district are cordially invited to attend.
