SCUTTLED STEAMER.
BIG BENZINE CARGO. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 30. The steamer Marne, scuttled in the Panama Canal recently to extinguish a fire, had on board 43,000 cases of benzine for Auckland and Wellington. It is stated that the vesel is believed to be a total loss.
