PRESIDENT DEALS WITH A
THREAT

At- th.9 Arbitration Court to-day, during tho discussion of tho typographical dispute. Mr A. D. Robbie, representing tlib Typographical Association, said th.it tho typocrnphists had come to the conclusion that the worst countries" so far n" wa.gos were enncerned were the two vh'Vh hncl compulsory arbitration —Ne>v Zealand mid Australia. He made a remark .ts to the possibility of considering cancellation of registration within the act.

If it waa meant that they would wart ami soo what tho Court would grant, an^. that if not satisfactory they woukl conr«;l registration, he would dismiss tho application at one?. Mr Roblve expressed resrret that bis remark had caused the Court to eet w.rh an inrprcssion. He said they would ioynliy abide by the Court's docivion.
