EARLY MEETING DESIRED

BRUSSELS, December 4

The meeting of the Association for Promoting the Work of the League of Nations is attended by delegates from all nations except America and the Central Powers. The hope is expressed that the American Senate's decision will not postpone the early meeting of the League.

The Italian delegates deplored the waye of anarchy sweeping the world, especially Italy. They urged an early meeting of the League, otherwise they might see the whole of Europe aflame.

M. Bourgeous, on behalf of France, urged the hastening of the League operations. He submitted a motion asking America promptl;- to solve the difficulties standing in the way of her adhesion to the Peace Treaty.
